Julie Wells-Colley
CEO
Julie has worked in adult social care for over 30 years and is passionate about positive outcomes for people, no matter what support they need. Julie joined the Moorview Care team, initially as Chief Operating Officer in 2020 to oversee all aspects of Operations ensuring the individuals we support have the opportunities and tools to live the life they choose.
Over the past 30 years Julie has always been determined to ensure that people not only receive the care and support they want and need, but to have hopes and dreams, rights and opportunities; basically to live a gloriously ordinary life.
Nicki Dixon
Director of Operations
Nicki joined Moorview Care as a Deputy Manager and quickly progressed up to the Leadership Team and to Director of Operations covering all localities. Nicki has over 26 years experience in the care sector and over 23 years experience in management, residential and domiciliary including multi-site management in mental health and learning disabilities.
Nicki's role at Moorview Care is to oversee the services within her region and ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of care for our clients. She is Co-Production Lead, chair for Moorview Matters inclusion group and Quality Lead for all localities.
Stacey Carr
Director of People & Culture
Stacey is responsible for providing effective leadership, developing an inclusive workforce, and transforming current organisation development strategies, contributing to our vision, mission and strategic plan. Stacey champions the development of Moorview Care’s ways of working underpinned by our values.
Stacey leads the People & Culture Team, made up of our HR and Learning & Development Teams. Stacey chairs our Team Voice forum and is our Equality & Diversity Champion Lead.
Janette Walker
Director of Governance & Development
Janette has had a career in the adult social care sector for the last 15 years. She had worked in many sectors including brain injury rehabilitation, learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs. Since joining Moorview Care in 2021, Janette has helped lead the expansion of our services - previously as the Director of Operations for Hull and East Yorkshire. She ensures all our people, both clients and our team, are happy and well cared for.
Janette oversees our positive behavioural support provision along with health and safety, as well as helping shape the strategic direction of the company with an eye for growth.
Management Team
We are incredibly proud of the team we have built at Moorview Care. While everyone brings their own experience, expertise and personality, we are united by a shared belief in what Moorview Care stands for. We value the different perspectives and strengths each person brings, while working together towards a common purpose. It is this balance of individuality and shared values that makes our team what it is today.
Sam Robinson
Head of Operations
Sam joined Moorview Care in January 2023, with over 10 years of experience in the sector. Sam provides support and leadership to the different locality regions within the organisation to deliver person centred care.
As part of her role, Sam reviews and monitors quality and compliance within the services to ensure we deliver a high-quality service to our clients and work in line with Regulations. Project work is another important part of Sam's role, which includes work around Positive Behavioural Support, Policies and Procedures and Quality Assurance.
Janine Simpson
Registered Manager - East Coast & Hull
Janine joined Moorview Care in April 2026, but her career in support began back in 1999. Over the years, she has advanced from Support Worker to Team Leader and then to Registered Manager, giving her a strong understanding of the needs of both the people we support and the teams who provide their support.
Janine shares Moorview Care's values and is passionate about collaborative working. Her goal is to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we support by ensuring their voices are heard and that they remain at the heart of everything we do.
Jennie Charters
Registered Manager - Whitby & Scarborough
Jennie joined Moorview Care over six years ago and has recently been promoted to Registered Manager for our Whitby and Scarborough localities. Starting her journey as a Support Worker in Whitby, Jennie has progressed through the roles of Senior Support Worker, Team Leader and Cluster Manager — gaining invaluable experience at each step.
Jennie is passionate about building strong, connected teams and delivering the highest quality support. She’s excited to bring the WANDS localities together and is looking forward to working closely with the Scarborough team and getting to know the people we support across both areas.
