We’re here to support your independence and career progression. Through our Learn to Drive scheme, Moorview Care will contribute up to £400 towards your driving lessons.

Maternity Enhancement
We’re committed to supporting new mothers through this important time.
If you’ve completed 3 years of continuous service before starting maternity leave, you’ll receive enhanced maternity pay.
Additional Holiday
To recognise long service, team members receive an additional day of paid holiday (8 hours) on their work anniversary after three years of continuous employment.

An extra day is added each year thereafter, up to a maximum of five extra days. This is automatically included in your annual leave entitlement and can be booked as usual.
​
This benefit is subject to standard tax and National Insurance deductions and is applied automatically by our HR team.


Anniversary Bonus
After one year of continuous service — and every year after — you’ll automatically receive an anniversary bonus, paid with your usual salary.
​
No need to apply: the HR Team will arrange for the payment to be added to your payslip. Standard tax and National Insurance will apply.
​
This benefit is available to all team members, as long as you’re not in your notice period at the time of payment.
Annual Awards & Values Heroes
Team members are invited to vote for their colleagues in a variety of award categories each year. Votes and supporting explanations are submitted in advance of the event.
​
Award events are arranged by local management — a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the fantastic work of your team. If you’re nominated or win, you’ll be recognised at the event and receive a prize (usually vouchers between £50–£250).
​
In addition, our Senior Team selects MVC Values Heroes — team members who truly embody our core Values. Nominations are submitted in advance, with winners announced by email to the whole team.
​
As a Values Hero, you’ll receive a £50 voucher and join MVC’s Award Winners Hall of Fame — alongside our Annual Award winners.


Healthcare Plan
After one year of service, you’ll be invited by email to join Moorview Care’s healthcare cash plan, provided through WPA. Participation is optional — simply follow the link in the email to opt in.
​
Once you’ve opted in, the HR Team will set up your plan with WPA. You’ll then receive an activation email from WPA — just follow the prompts within 10 days to activate your plan and start accessing benefits.
​
You can manage your plan and submit claims easily via the WPA app. The healthcare cash plan is a benefit in kind and is available to all eligible team members (excluding Bank Workers).
Cycle to Work Scheme
Through our Cycle to Work scheme, team members can save money on a new bike and accessories by spreading the cost through salary sacrifice.
​
After passing your 6-month probation, you can apply to join the scheme (subject to eligibility and approval). Once approved, you’ll receive a voucher to use at participating retailers, with the cost then spread across 12 monthly salary deductions.
​
This benefit is open to all eligible team members (excluding Bank Workers) and cannot be combined with other salary sacrifice schemes. It is not available during notice periods or if under investigation.


Celebrating You & Giving Back
At Moorview Care, we believe in celebrating our team and giving something back — to you, and to the wider world. We mark key moments and achievements with thoughtful gestures throughout the year.

Each year, you’ll receive a gift from us at Christmas as a small token of our thanks for your hard work and dedication. On your birthday, we’ll plant a tree in your name through our tree-planting partner — a lasting gift that helps the environment and contributes to our sustainability goals.
​
We also come together for festive celebrations, with local Christmas parties giving everyone the chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the season together. It’s all part of how we recognise the value every team member brings to the Moorview Care family.
Everyday Advice Line
All team members have free access to a confidential Everyday Advice Line, provided through our partner Wider Wellbeing.

Whether you need legal advice, financial guidance (such as debt management), or simply someone to talk to, qualified experts are on hand to support you. This service is completely confidential and free to use.
​
This benefit is available to all team members and does not affect your tax.


Refer a Friend Bonus
Help us grow our caring team — and get rewarded! If you recommend a friend to join Moorview Care, you can earn up to £200 in bonuses.
Here’s how it works:

£100 when they complete their 6-month probation
To take part, simply email HR with your friend’s contact details and ensure they name you as their referrer during their application. Bonuses are paid via payroll and are subject to tax and National Insurance.
Volunteer Days
We encourage all team members to give back to the community. You can take up to 5 days per year to volunteer for a cause that matters to you.
​
Volunteer days are unpaid and must be approved in advance by your Line Manager. You’ll need to provide evidence of your volunteering activity and may be asked to share a photo for our marketing and social media.
​
This benefit is open to all team members (excluding those on long-term sick leave or in their notice period). It’s a great way to make a difference while staying connected to the wider community.

Requests must be submitted via MVCX by 3pm on a Wednesday to receive payment that Friday (subject to approval). Requests submitted after this deadline will be processed the following week.

This benefit is available to all eligible team members who have accrued the amount requested. It’s a taxable benefit and not available to those in their notice period or under investigation.
Learn to Drive
We’re here to support your independence and career progression. Through our Learn to Drive scheme, Moorview Care will contribute up to £400 towards your driving lessons.
​
You’ll receive £200 towards your practical driving lessons, followed by another £200 once you’ve successfully passed your test. This benefit is open to all eligible team members after passing probation and is subject to scheme terms and conditions.
​
To apply, contact HR and provide proof of your lessons and test pass. A photo of you with your certificate may be used in our marketing (with your permission). Payments are made via payroll and are subject to tax and National Insurance.


Maternity Enhancement
We’re committed to supporting new mothers through this important time. If you’ve completed 3 years of continuous service before starting maternity leave, you’ll receive enhanced maternity pay.
​
You’ll be entitled to 6 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), followed by an additional 6 weeks of Company Maternity Pay (inclusive of SMP). This provides extended financial support during your leave.
​
To access this benefit, notify your Line Manager and the HR Team of your pregnancy and submit your MATB1 form. You’ll also be asked to sign a maternity pay agreement encouraging your return to work. Payments are made via payroll and subject to tax and National Insurance.
