Stacey Represents Moorview Care as Judge at The Great British Care Awards 2025

We’re proud to share that our Director of Culture and People, Stacey, was invited to join the judging panel at The Great British Care Awards 2025, where she helped to select the winner for the Home Care Employer Award ahead of the National Finals.

The Great British Care Awards celebrate excellence across the care sector, shining a spotlight on the people, teams and organisations who go above and beyond to make a difference to people’s lives.

This year, Stacey joined fellow judges to scrutinise an incredible shortlist of employers and to champion the very best of what our industry has to offer. Reflecting on the day, Stacey said:

“It’s been such a good day, and a real eye-opener to the different levels of care being provided, from large corporate organisations to small family run care businesses. Listening to so many inspiring stories has been a real privilege, and what shines through is that if you work in care, you just have that thing inside you where you want to make a difference.
Every person we judged today clearly wanted to do good, to help, and to change lives for the better.”

She added:

“The collaboration across the sector was so powerful. We’re not competitors, we’re all in this together. The chance to learn from others, to see what different organisations are proud of, and to hear how they’re championing care within their communities has been remarkable. Some organisations have even worked with their local radio and MPs to raise awareness of the care profession, alongside providing excellent training and career development for their teams. That was really inspiring to hear.”

The judges were looking for stand-out Home Care Employers, organisations that not only make a difference to their people but also have a wider impact on families, communities, and the sector as a whole. After reviewing 14 incredible shortlisted candidates, Stacey and her co-judge selected their winner and highly commended, who will be revealed at the National Awards.

Speaking about her own perspective, Stacey said:

“For Moorview Care, this experience has been such a fantastic opportunity to listen to other organisations and learn from them. It’s been insightful, collaborative and inspiring, and a reminder of why we are so lucky to work in a sector that changes lives every single day.”

At Moorview Care, we know that our people are at the heart of everything we do. From our frontline team to our office teams, every person plays a vital role in the support we provide. Through our in-house Learning & Development Team, regular training opportunities, a wide range of team benefits, and our strong family ethos, we ensure that our colleagues feel valued, supported, and celebrated for the difference they make each day. Without them, we simply couldn’t deliver the high-quality support we are known for.
