Community Support in Whitby
As well as assisting with any daily tasks such as shopping, cooking or cleaning, our Community Support Team in Whitby are trained and happy to help with a variety of important things in life such as achieving goals and aspirations and getting out in the community.
Help with finances: If required, our Community Support team can help with managing finances, paying bills and general day-to-day financial assistance.
Getting out and about in the community: It can be daunting to venture out and experience new things. We support people to build their confidence and go with them on trips out.
Housekeeping: Sometimes individuals might need a little extra help with keeping their home tidy so over a cuppa and a chat, we can help with washing or a dust and hoover when required.
Helping to administer medication: Our team are trained to assist with and administer medication when required. We demonstrate safe and effective medication management daily for our people.
Achieving goals and aspirations: We want our people to live gloriously ordinary lives and we'll do everything we can to help them achieve their goals and aspirations - however big or small they may be.
