As well as assisting with any daily tasks such as shopping, cooking or cleaning, our Community Support Team in Whitby are trained and happy to help with a variety of important things in life such as achieving goals and aspirations and getting out in the community.
Help with finances: If required, our Community Support team can help with managing finances, paying bills and general day-to-day financial assistance.
Getting out and about in the community: It can be daunting to venture out and experience new things. At Moorview Care, we're able to help those we support to build their confidence and go with them on trips out.
Attending (or applying for) college or work: Furthering education or looking for a job is something we can help with! We go at the pace set by the person we support and find (and help to maintain) work or education that suits the individual.
Helping to administer medication: Our Community Support Team are trained to assist with and administer medication should it be required. We demonstrating safe and effective medication management daily for our people.
Achieving goals and aspirations: We want our people to live gloriously ordinary lives and we'll do everything we can to help our people achieve their goals and aspirations - however big or small they may be.
